Since BPAS launched on 14th September 2020, we’ve brought our listeners over 130 episodes and over 8,000 minutes of content! That’s not to mention our Latics Football Phone In live every Wednesday at 8.30pm. In 2022 we created more content than 93% of creators in our category!
We love producing the show and dedicating as much of our spare time to it as we possibly can to bring you the most in-depth interviews, news and debate you’ll find anywhere on the topic of Oldham Athletic.
We launched a subscription option last year so that those who want to can help support the costs of running the podcast and website, which hosts Arlene’s fantastic weekly blog, for the bargain price of just £2.99 per month. Up until now, there hasn’t been any advantage for subscribers, they get the same product as those who don’t pay. Just so you have an idea, we currently have around 30 subscribers, which when you compare that to the amount of weekly listeners we have…is pretty low!
It has always been our intention to produce free content, but we feel that it’s about time that we incentivised it for those who subscribe and make some structural changes which could potentially benefit us more…so, starting in 2023, here’s the plan:
BPAS to remain a free weekly podcast every Monday morning at 7am - no change
The Latics Football Phone In live Wednesdays 8.30pm - no change
The Latics Football Phone In audio podcast - available to subscribers only
YouTube video interviews such as with DU and Roy - free to view on YouTube
Audio only podcast versions of YouTube videos - available to subscribers only
We hope these subtle changes will help us improve both our podcast subscription rate and our YouTube subscriptions / views, whilst still providing all of our content for free. We’d really appreciate it if you would consider subscribing, you can cancel at any time.
